Winter Hairy Vetch: Cover crop seed that is a vigorous legume used for fixing N & enhancing organic matter. Provides great weed suppression & erosion prevention. Tolerant of most soil conditions. Will overwinter.
Tillage Radish: Cover crop seed of Daikon type radish, bred for single long taproot. Reduces compaction and improves air & water movement. Reaches maturity in 4-6 weeks. Shades out winter annuals, suppresses spring annual weeds. Winterkills with temps in the teens.
Fall Cereal Rye: Cover crop seed of pure fall rye grain, screened for purity & cleanliness (weed-free). Excellent germination and early vigor allows for later fall seedings. Winter hardy with quick spring green-up.
Crimson clover: cover crop seed that germinates quickly and winterkills under cold temps. Strong Nitrogen fixing and high biomass potential. Shade tolerant- survives interseeding into standing crops. Effective as weed-suppressing green manure crop.
